Belarus: Northern Dimension
Dear colleagues,
Consortium of Belarusian, Lithuanian and Polish organisations under the auspices of Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) and Institute “Political Sphere” (Belarus) is pleased to announce a call for individual proposals for participation in the Third International Congress of Belarusian Studies, which will be held on October 11-13, 2013 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
We expect attendance of over three hundreds scholars and researchers from around the world who are engaged in research on Belarus, East-Central and Northern Europe. The Congress will gather scholars in social sciences and humanities. In addition, the Congress will consider regional development and international relations of Belarus, and host topical scientific and social discussions.

The main working languages of the congress are Belarusian and English (simultaneous translation into these languages during plenary and joint sessions will be provided). Additional languages of communication are Russian, Polish and Lithuanian. Spokespersons can make presentations in Belarusian, English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian.
The Congress participants will have an opportunity to publish their abstracts.
