The main academic event of 2011 – the International Congress of Belarusian Studies
(September 23-25, Kaunas, Lithuania)
On July 15, 2011 comes the deadline for proposals for the First International Congress of Belarusian Studies.
Organising committee has received more than 60 applications from all over the world: Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, France, Czech Republic, USA, Japan etc. We expect that more than 100 scholars will take part in the congress.
The congress includes work in sections and activities in public discussions. Additionally, the cultural programme, Belarusian books market and exhibitions will be held at the congress.
All scholars, researchers and experts are welcome to participate regardless discipline and place of work. For participants from Belarus organisers reimburse travel and accommodation expenses. We also provide free visas for the period of congress work.
To participate in the Congress, the candidates should submit CV and abstract up to 400 words to the email firstname.lastname@example.org till July 15, 2011. Please, mention in the letter whether you need a visa.
